Do you accept Maltese pupils?

Yes, Haileybury Malta is an international school and therefore welcomes applications from pupils of all nationalities. We will be a vibrant, multi-national community of pupils and staff from Malta and anywhere else in the world.

What is the curriculum?

Haileybury Malta is a British curriculum school. Once the school is fully open and the accreditation process has been completed, our eldest pupils will study towards the International Baccalaureate diploma, a qualification recognised and accepted by the best universities worldwide.

How long is the school day?

Pupils may arrive from 7:30am. The teaching day ends at 3:30pm, but there will be a wide range of extra-curricular activity and homework clubs taking place until 5:30pm.

What happens at lunch time?

All pupils will benefit from a cooked meal at lunchtime. Lunch is included in the fees.

The building is very large. How will pupils stay warm in the winter?

All classrooms will be equipped with heating and air-conditioning units so that pupils are comfortable in lessons and able to focus on their learning.

What is your uniform?

Our uniform is very similar to that of our sister school in the UK. It is an expectation that all pupils wear the correct uniform.

Will pupils be able to do any Music or Drama?

Arts subjects are as important as the core curriculum. Music, Art and Drama lessons will be timetabled so that everyone has the opportunity to experience an enriched curriculum. These subjects will be taught by specialists.

What about sport?

Sports will take place most days. Physical health and general fitness is taken very seriously and pupils will have a range of sporting opportunities throughout their time at Haileybury Malta.
